Robin Travis is passionate about finding images that inspire others. Her vision is to
share the delight of the world; a sunrise on Lake Tahoe, a bee on a flower, or a beloved person. There is a depth to her portfolio that includes the minutiae and grandness of life.
Since childhood Robin has been the family photographer, beginning by taking snapshots with
her Polaroid on Christmas morning, or at a family birthday party. In 1996 she attended St. Petersburg College in Florida to study Black & White photography. A few years later Robin moved from Florida to Nevada
and shortly thereafter entered a photo contest and won her first blue ribbon. That event marked the beginning of a growing recognition of her work. Since then her photographs have been published in calendars,
newspapers and magazines. Robin now lives in Marina, California. She is focused on the life around her, whether it is her friends or the wildlife of the Central Coast.
